Crime scene investigation
For this project we were all separated to investigate different crime scenes. From there, we were put into partners. We did many things such as, blood typing, finger print fuming, and more! Through-out all of this, our main objective is to find out who the killer was. Though, sadly in my specific crime scene, the killer was not found.
I feel that I participated a lot during this project. My partner and I split the work perfectly in half. It was really fun to actually get into the scene and the investigation.

Monkey meal planning summary
In biology we learned about how there was a fissility that held lots of different monkeys to save the monkey population. Though, knowing that all living things need to have food to live. So, many of the workers there have made many different recipes to feed the monkeys and still give them the necessary nutrients they need as well as just making it fun for the chimps to eat. For my recipe, I made a macaroni and cheese dish that also had broccoli in it. I also decided that I would be making this meal for Chimpanzees. This means that I will need bigger amounts of food with different numbers of nutrients and vitamins. I thought that making a macaroni dish would be fun and interesting for the chimps to eat as well as them getting the things they need.
Dissection summary
I thought that dissecting different things was fun and interesting, though it was really hard to remember all the names of every body part. Though it was also difficult to remember the heart functions. I feel that I should've studied more even though I studied quite a bit. I just needed to actually take the information in.
Community connection
My community connection was volunteering at the humane society. I decided to do this because I love dogs and cats and I like taking care of them. It was a lot of fun because I got to walk dogs and do the usual things for them. Like feeding them and giving them water. I really hope to do it again.
DNS reflection
At the beginning of the year, my class and I needed to learn about eco systems as well as the different species as well the habitats they live in. In order to do this, my class went off to Durango Nature Studies to catch frogs and figure out exactly what type of frog they are, as well as testing the habitat around them. This taught us about ecosystems and different species. It was very exciting to see the different types of frogs as well as be out in nature.
