Energy and place
Energy production and consumption effects place because the amount of energy that you consume effects how you feel you're effecting the world as a whole. A third world country might have a different perception than a first world country of what exactly place means and is. My sense of place was somewhere that is very natural, somewhere that you really don't need much in order to get to that place. Therefore, that makes my environmental ethic be very environmentally friendly, not wanting to destroy the place we live in.
I feel that this project was a lot of fun and different from our usual labs and projects in this class. We were able to personalize our lab and find out what we wanted as long as it related to energy. I especially loved making the Piktochart, because I would love to be a graphic artist once I get older. This gives my practice in some way. I wish that we could've had more time to reflect back on the lab and figure out exactly what we did and how we could do it even better.
The biggest thing that I learned from this experience is that there are many different aspects and steps to every lab that happens. You also need to be extremely diligent when doing so. This helped me learn how to set up a scientific paper correctly. I big thing that I learned about energy is how much exactly we all use individually. I learned specifically about how food gives you energy. It really does make me think about what exactly I'm eating and consuming every day. This biggest thing that I was trying to convey through my infographic was any information about food and calories and so my audience knows how they work.

My 1st chem project
All through-out history, we are told how things are supposed to be done and that is the only way to do things, though, after this project, I found out that there are many ways to improve almost every object in the universe. Fixing things is what keeps us going and keeps us constantly thinking. When I was studying why sodium sulfate is bad for your hair, I found out that there is so much that can go into shampoo that can effect your hair in a negative way. Sodium sulfate loves to work as a team and strip your hair of oil, even though this might seem good, it is very damaging to the hair. The sulfate ion (SO4-2) is
a “fatty chain” that loves to soak up all oil and the dirt that might’ve been
left in your hair after a long day. The sodium ion (Na+x) is the
main reason that you see those suds; sodium has the polar end that likes to
take the water that is all throughout your hair and spread the water out
further to complete it’s outer shell. Together, their chemical formula results
in being Na2SO4.
